First of, what is a cliff-hanger? A cliff-hanger is where you leave your readers with a huge question like will he make it or will they save the day. I love to use cliff-hangers. But there are many ways you can make them great. For example: the end of the name of the doctor? The key to making good cliff-hangers is you answer one question but make many more. So if we stick with that example: Question answered: We know that John Hurt will be playing an incarnation of the doctor. Questions asked: What did he mean by not in the name of the doctor, where is he on the timeline? So there you go! Have fun writing your stories!
